Hello and welcome to my blog, Fashion Decades. I wanted this to be a place to share my thoughts and research in to different decades of fashion. I have always been interested in fashion and I now have a degree in fashion design and costume. My goal after university was to set up my own business in contemporary fashion, however after a month of struggling with ideas and inspiration I realsied my interest wasn’t in contemporary fashion it lies in the history of fashion and costume. To start my new business idea I wanted to create a platform of all my research and ideas for people who are like minded so you can appreciate the history and hopefully my own work.
Now I design what I want to wear, and it works that way.
